After your arrival you will get accomodated in our cozy little rustic cabin and then you will get to meet and greet all the huskies that reside here at the farm.
We will show you how they live, and introduce you to all the different generation from puppies, youngsters, to the athletes and canine senior citizens.
Equipped with a special belt and snowshoes, you will head out for a guided snowshoe walk in the woods and explore the area and lakeside. You will get to choose your own husky to pull you.
Many of our guests chose to go out at the dawn to experience the special light at the lake and the reflection of the headlamps on the snow, or to enjoy the natural light of the moon. If you are fortunate, the northern lights might show up as well.
Warmed up by a cup of hot chocolate, home made glögg (non-alcoholic drink similar to mulled wine) or a traditional Nordic winter hot drink made of rose hips (super-tasty!), we'll let the huskies help you through the snow back to the farm.
We will make dinner on open fire and make sure you are warm and cozy with reindeer skins and the crackling birch wood flames. Moose burgers, wild mushroom sauce, stew and home baked buns, wild berry pie and similar locally produced traditional and organic foods belong to the authentic experience during your visit with us.
After dinner you can choose to experience feeding time at the kennel, wait for nortern lights to show up, or retreat to the warmth of the cabin for a good rest. The huskies will sing you a good night howl concert, something very unique to experience.
